How would you describe your wedding photography?
I am a creative documentary wedding photographer, I step back and photograph your wedding as it unfolds in front of me. I only step in and take charge for the formals (if you want them) and if it helps make a better photograph for you.
Where are you based?
In the LCB Depot in Leicester City Centre . Leicester is one of the best connected cities in the country with easy access to Nottingham, Birmingham, Northampton and the M1/M69/A6 etc.
Can we see some recent work?
This site has all my up to date work and you can ‘like’ my Facebook Page to be keep up to date when new work is added.
How many images can I expect to see from my wedding?
You can expect between 250 and 450 photos from your wedding day. A lot of the time you can expect more. It all depends on how long you book me for, if you book a 2nd photographer and what happens at your wedding.
Do you bring your own lighting?
I use a mix of different lighting including natural light, speed lights, LED panels and even a mobile phone, what ever gets the best photograph!
Are you insured?
Yes of course. I have insurance for my equipment, indemnity and liability. This is typically a minimum needed to work at most wedding venues. If you would like to see certificates, just ask.
Will it be you who photographs our wedding?
My business is called ‘Christopher Bunce Photography’, so if you book me and you get me, not a sub contractor!
How many weddings will you do on our wedding day?
I only shoot one wedding per day no matter how long or short it is. You book me, you get my full attention.
Do you bring a second shooter?
I almost always work with a second shooter as it means we can cover both bride and groom preparations and also whilst one photographer is concentrating on the couple, the other can concentrate on your guests having fun and relaxing.
Do you offer coverage for same sex civil partnerships/weddings?
Yes, definitely! I enjoy photographing anyone especially 2 people in love!
Do you travel?
I can travel as needed but anything over 2 hours away from Leicester would require overnight accommodation but this can be discussed when we meet.
Do you do groups/formals?
If you would like groups/formals we can do them. They normally take between 3 to 5 minutes per group if I have an usher/bridesmaid/helpful family member who knows all the key people who can help.
What happens if your camera breaks on our wedding day?
I always work with two cameras so if one breaks, I alway have one that works. Also, as I always work with another photographer (who uses 2 cameras as well), we have enough backups between us for the worse to happen and still capture your day without issue.
Do you shoot weddings throughout the whole year?
I shoot all year round excluding Christmas Day.
When would we get to see our wedding images?
I like to show some ‘sneak peeks’ on Facebook. Then the rest of the images will be edited and given to you usually no more than 6 weeks after your wedding day.
Do we get a DVD of our images and can we make our own prints?
A DVD or USB key with all your full resolution images is included in the price you pay. This comes with a print license, which allows you to print your photos as you wish. There are no hidden charges. Additional DVDs can be purchased for parents, friends etc
Can my guests view and buy prints off you after the wedding?
Yes, as part of your package, I provide an online password protected gallery, which has the option for your guests to buy their own prints. All you need to do is to send them the web link that I give you, with your password and then they can browse (and buy) away.
What is your plan if you are ill or there is an emergency and you can’t photograph my wedding?
I hope this never happens, but one of the good things of working with a second photographer is they can step in and cover if I can’t photograph for a reason. All my second photographers are capable of, and do so on a regular basis, photographing an entire wedding on their own. I also have a selection of photographers who I can call on in an emergency who can cover weddings at the last minute.
What will you and your second photographer wear?
We make sure we are smart and discrete with what we wear (no loud shirts with ruffles!). Shirt and trousers are the order of the day.
Will you help me with my time line for the wedding day?
If you would like help with your time line, I can use my experience to help you plan a day where you will not feel rushed and you can fit all the important things to you in.
What will we do if it rains or snow?
I am a photographer based in the UK, if I didn’t know what to do in the rain I couldn’t work for half the year! I come prepared with waterproofs, umbrellas for you and the bridal party and I love to play around in the rain and snow. If you are game so am I!
I like what I see here, how do we book you?
I always like to meet up/Skype/FaceTime so I (and you) can put a face to the name and we can discuss your wedding plans in more details.
If you and your partner are happy with what I can offer, I will reserve your date (for 7 days) and send a contract for you both to read. Once I have received the signed contract and £200 booking fee, your date is confirmed and that is one more thing off your to do list!
