Wollaton Hall Wedding Photographer - Ashley & Chris's UK Celebration
Today we are excited to share as we had the pleasure of capturing the beautiful union of Ashley and Chris, a vibrant couple who journeyed all the way from California to say "I do" at the magnificent Wollaton Hall. Working alongside Yellowglove Productions added an extra layer of fun to the day, making it a truly memorable experience.
Our adventure began in the heart of Nottingham city centre, where Ashley and her bridesmaids, along with both mothers, prepared for the big day at a duplex AirBnB. Laughter, excitement, and the clinking of bubbly glasses set the tone for a morning filled with joy.
Simultaneously, on the other side of the city, Chris and his entourage embraced the anticipation and nerves at the Crown Plaza hotel. The energy was palpable, and a quick drink at the bar eased the tension before the minibus ride to Wollaton Hall.
Back with the girls, Ashley adorned her wedding dress, with help from her mother. She headed downstairs and surprised her bridesmaids and flower girl. The minibus then whisked them away to the breathtaking Wollaton Hall, where the grand outside stairs provided a perfect backdrop for some pre-ceremony photos. Chris and his groomsmen added the final details before heading down the aisle waiting for Ashley to make her entrance.
The ceremony unfolded with Ashley's proud father walking her down the aisle, while a ring bearer added a touch of humour with a wriggle bug instead of the rings. Post-ceremony, confetti rained down as the couple made a grand exit down the same stairs as earlier.
We ventured to the Orangery for drinks and nibbles, followed by group shots and a stroll to the ballroom for some striking couple photos. Dinner was a lively affair, with animated entrances by all of the bridal party.
As the sun dipped, we captured the vibrant June colours of the flowers during a romantic photoshoot. A cheeky cake cut and heartwarming dances ensued, with Ashley's grandfather stealing the show during the bouquet toss.
Against the backdrop of a stunning sunset, we ascended to the roof of Wollaton Hall, offering a unique perspective on their special day. The festivities continued into the night, marking the end of a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
