Photography isn’t just for weddings & big events

It is great to celebrate families in every form. From what people consider to be the “traditional family”, to friends who are like siblings, all the way through to furry family members, there is a common theme. That is, they all mean the world to us!

I am excited to introduce myself as your local Midlands family photographer and share with you my passion for capturing precious family moments. Being based in Leicester I have easy access to most of the Midlands, so where ever you want to shoot, I am there!

To a lot of people family is everything and that’s why I specialise in candid photography that celebrates your unique family dynamic. I understand that the best family photos are the ones that capture genuine emotions and interactions, and I work hard to create a relaxed and comfortable environment that allows you all to be yourselves in front of the camera. All without cheesy poses and plain backgrounds.

Whether you’re looking for a traditional family portrait, a fun and playful session with your kids, or a documentary-style shoot that captures a day in the life of your family’s crazy existence, I have the experience and expertise to make it happen.

What would the process be?

I want this to be a easy process for you so it has 3 steps:

get to know each other

We’ll have a chat where we can get to know each other better. You can tell me about yourself & your family and I can find out what it is you want to be captured. We will work together to put the best plan together.

Throughout I will listen to your ideas and concerns about being photographed and will show what I can do to help ease them. Yes, I want to produce images that you will love forever, but I also want you to enjoy your time in front of the camera with your family.

time to shoot

We can do the shoot wherever feels most natural – your home, the local park or even out in the Peak District or by the beach. It’s all about those real moments that shine through your interactions.

Want to bring out everyone’s personality? Let’s plan a fun activity! Heading to the park? Pack a picnic! Staying at home? Let’s see what happens when your favourite game gets competitive!

We can plan as much or as little as you like, so you’ll know what to expect and feel totally at ease before the session. Then, you can relax and enjoy, while I candidly capture all the magic as it unfolds.

Delivery time

After carefully selecting and editing all the amazing photos from our shoot together, I will upload them to your personal password protected online gallery for you to view. They are available to you in high resolution with no watermark.

You will receive a license to print and share the photos as you wish, however if you would like to have any printed items produced by me, let me know and we can discuss what you would like i.e. large prints to be framed, canvas, photo books etc
