Hello!

I’m Chris

I am a wedding photographer with a love for capturing real moments, real emotions, and real people not awkward posing and cheesy smiles

I’ve been photographing weddings since 2007 and, with over 500 weddings under my belt, I can confidently say I’m still just as hooked as I was after my first one.


I cannot recommend Chris enough. He is a brilliant photographer and a wonderful person. Chris went above and beyond to help out and ensure we had the best day possible. His friendly and accommodating manner made him a pleasure to be around. We love our photos and he has managed to capture so many precious and wonderful memories we will treasure for ever. Thank you!

A little more about me

  • I am married to Tânia & we have two girls, Simone & Mia. Our house is ruled by 2 cats, Charly & Toby.
  • I grew up in Nottinghamshire but now live in Leicester. I moved to Leicester to study Space Science at uni. My life may have taken a bit of a turn!
  • I enjoy hiking, camping, and anything that gets me outdoors.
  • I love going to airshows, this is the hobby side of my photography, getting to photograph aircraft. I wanted to be a pilot when I was younger and have always had an interest in planes, especially fighter jets.
  • Anything mechanical engineering fascinate me – if it moves and has an engine, I’m interested!
  • Fun fact: I looked more like Harry Potter when I was younger than Daniel Radcliffe ever did (and now, just imagine Harry Potter with a beard… that’s me!)
  • I have an eclectic taste in music, from dance music to heavy metal, drum & bass to those cheesy 90s/2000s belters
how did it all begin?

How did you get into wedding photography?

I was at Leicester College studying photography and video, a friend of a friend’s original photographer disappeared two weeks before the wedding (yikes!). My friend asked if I could help, little did I know this was going to be the first of hundreds of weddings! I went along, did a decent job, had fun and got intrigued. A couple of months later, a couple contacted the college as they couldn’t afford a photographer, I volunteered and had another great time! I was hooked!

What would you bring to my wedding?

  • A keen eye for the little moments – The happy tears, the belly laughs, the quiet looks of love, the way they hold your hand.
  • A calm and reassuring presence – I know weddings can feel overwhelming, and I’m here to help keep things as relaxed as possble.
  • Help for those who hate being photographed – Not a fan of the camera? Me neither! That’s why I focus on capturing natural interactions instead of forced poses.
  • A dash of creativity and attention to detail – Because the little things matter just as much as the big ones.
  • ‘Mary Poppins with a camera’ – I try to have all the little things you might not have thought about with me. Need some hair grips, got them. Your new shoes rubbing too much? No worries, blister pads in the bag. Scissors, crochet hook, safety pins, mints, nearly everything you might need!
  • Simply I just am a relaxed candid fun photographer who wants to capture your day as unobtrusively as possible!
