For most of your wedding day, I’ll be in the background, capturing all those special moments as they happen naturally. But when we get an opportunity to take you guys away for a few moments, that’s when things start to get creative. Don’t worry, it’s all super relaxed, fun, and laid back. Even if you’re not a fan of being in front of the camera, I’ll make sure you feel totally at ease, and I promise we’ll have a laugh while we’re at it. This part of the day is quick and easy because I know you’ll want to get back to the party with your favourite people. Most of the time, we split it into two short sessions so we can grab a different feel throughout the day. It’s totally up to you, after all, it’s your wedding, and we’ll make sure the couples’ shoot fits seamlessly into your plans.

Natural wedding moments

Every wedding is unique, and my goal is to tell your story in the most authentic way possible. I love capturing those big, unforgettable moments, like your first kiss or the epic dance moves at the end of the night,but it’s the in-between moments that truly make your day special. The stolen glances, belly laughs, happy tears, and everything else that unfolds naturally are the memories you’ll treasure most.

My photography style is simple and clean, with a little extra punch to the contrast and colours to bring the day to life. I take a relaxed, documentary approach for most of the day, blending in and capturing moments as they happen, without interrupting the flow. From chatting with your granny to cheering on a game of giant Jenga or snapping away on the dance floor (don’t worry, I really won’t outshine your guests with my moves), it’s all about capturing the energy and joy of the moment.

When it comes to portraits, I keep things light and fun. Even if you’re camera-shy, I’ll help you feel comfortable, and we’ll grab some gorgeous, natural shots without taking over the day. After all, your wedding is about spending time with your favourite people, and I’ll make sure the photography fits seamlessly into the celebration.

A pre-wedding photoshoot is a great way to celebrate your engagement and capture some stunning images before the big day. It’s a chance for us to get to know each other, for you to feel more comfortable in front of the camera, and to have some fun while getting some gorgeous photos.

We can pick a location that means something to you, whether it’s in the Midlands, somewhere else in the UK (a particular favourite is the Peak District), or even a destination shoot abroad, your choice! I love shooting in unique spots that you wouldn’t typically get on your wedding day. Whether it’s a cityscape, a countryside view, or a special place with personal meaning, these photos will give you something truly memorable to look back on. You can even use some of these images for save-the-dates, invitations, or a giant canvas at your wedding!

Pre-wedding shoots are a relaxed and fun 1-2 hour session (unless we get carried away talking about your wedding details!). The best part is, you’ll get an online gallery of your beautifully edited images in high resolution, which you can download, share with friends, or use however you like.
